While collecting: first shot after a 5 s countdown, then one every 2 s; frames with no detectable board are discarded. Newest images appear first, so the live view stays put. Press Space to stop; when not collecting, Space snaps a single image. 20 = minimum , 30 = better , 40+ = ideal . Only detected corner positions and thumbnails are stored (in your browser's localStorage) — full frames are discarded.
